23.01.2023 13.07

OCALA - Harold (Dallas VDL x Karandasj) and his Dutch rider Jelmer Hoekstra won the 1.40m WEC Futures Prix in Ocala, USA. Two clear rounds and a fast barracks time produced this success for the combination.

Karlotta CL (Baltic VDL x Coronado) and Manuel Torres (CAN) were good for victory in the 1.45m. C. Lux (NED) bred the seven-year-old Karlotta, who was also very successful under Torres in Ocala earlier this month.

The 1.45m WEC Welcome Prix was won by James Bond HX (Douglas VDL x Cash), ridden by Samantha Schaeffer (USA). Hendrix Stables (NED) bred the nine-year-old James Bond HX.

En Fuego ES (Glasgow-W v/h Merelsnest x Gershwin) won the 1.30m under Dorothy Douglas (USA).
This horse, born as Jupiter H, was bred by A. Hadderingh from Kostvlies (NED) and was already successful in the final of the 'Oostermoerkei' for young show jumpers in Beilen (NED) in his younger years under Germaine Benus (NED). Fifth in this class was Keminko N (Grand Slam VDL x Numero Uno)
Breeder of Keminko N, who was designated by the KWPN for the 70-day performance test in 2018, is G.A. Nijhof Ruiterkamp (NED).
